Dyno Time

Spent some time on the dyno at Autotech during the week.
After ironing out a couple of bugs, we got to the tuning.
Made a massive 12rwkW at about 3000rpm before we pulled the pin with air intake temps in excess of 100 degrees C, a problem I had expected.
Now going to water/methanol injection for charge cooling.

Exhaust

Custom exhaust just built by Powatone at Fyshwick, ACT.
Terrific looking job - 2.5 inch mandrel bent through a hotdog muffler, then 2 1/4 over the diff.
Great looking exhaust, but a terrible photo.

Ignition timing....

I found this example of an ignition timing map for a supercharged Toyota 4AGZE somewhere.  I might try it on my application as at the moment I've got no torque above 3000RPM.

New Brakes

New front brake kit arrived from NZ over Christmas.

Ordered custom Wilwood calipers with the dust seals to keep ADR road legal.

Also optioned slotted rotors (not shown).
